For a salaried person, Form 16 is one of the most important document to file their Income tax return. As Form 16 carries various details of the Salary paid, house property, Other source of income, deductions and tax paid or deducted. It is quite necessary to have your Form 16 before filing the Income tax return.
In case you do not have it, you may still file your Income tax return without it but will have to manually enter all the details in the Income tax form. Yes, Income tax filing can be done without Form 16 , though it is recommended for Income tax return filing and the employee should get the Form 16 from his employer every year.
In the absence of Form 16, the employee can refer his salary receipts to prepare annual income and tds detail. Every employer who deducts TDS from salary has to issue Form 16 in a specific format within the stipulated time. If the employer does not issue Form 16 within the stipulated time, he is liable for penalty under Income tax Act. Thus, it is compulsory for the employer to issue Form You may raise a grievance to the Income tax department in this regard by contacting your local Income office or through the Aaykar Sampark Kendra.
In case you missed to report somel deductions to your employer by the end of the financial year, or by any reason some information is missing in your Form 16, you can add them in your Income tax return form while filing your Income tax return.
If those deductions are within the allowed limits, you shall be able to claim them. If no taxes are deducted from salary then the employer may not issue Form 16 to you.
However, the employer should always issue a salary statement to the employee. Yes, pension is taxable as Income from Salary. If pension is received through banks then Form 16 is required to be issued by the employer.
The format of pension details shall be same as salary details in the Form Family pension is taxable as Income from Other Sources. Hence, Form 16 is not required in such case.
The employer can consider relief under section 89 while deducting the TDS and issue Form 16 accordingly. The self assessment tax needs to be paid in case your gross taxable income is over the exempt limit and Income tax return is to be filed by you. If one or more than one employer but not all, has deducted tds then also, you need to accumulate all Income at one place and then calculate applicable taxes.
You can ask for a duplicate Form 16 from your employer. If you just wish to know who had deducted income tax and the amount of tax deducted, you can download your Form 26AS for the particular assessment year and check. You can get Part B of Form 16 from all the employers for the salary paid by those employers respectively. Alternatively, you can obtain Part B of Form 16 from the last employer wherein the details of the salary earned from previous employer s are also declared.

Those who wish to have EC from , specific date range is not much help. Once you get draft sale deed it has clear time lines, typically 60 days. I have a query. He wants it to be given to his two daughters. Can allotted Plot be divided and registered in the name of children. Please reply, Thanks in advance. One more cost effective option is try to include all daughters in sale deed they might insist only un married daughters.

I have my registration pending, got the appointment date, the person who gave appointment card asked me to check with case worker 2 to 3 days before the registration date, since I submitted all the required docs, what should I check with him 2 or 3 days before registration date. Also the case workers are not very cooperative and does not provide detailed info. It is very quite common that they want you to make visit before actual registration date.

DD only day of registration, But for some people confusion happened due to un trained staff asked all DD and EC along with Draft sale deed. Also DD has 90 days validity so there is not major problem other then days interest loss. But DD in wrong hand might be costly risk.
About EC, EC can be pulled before registration or after registration too. After scam in BDA some people are getting EC to double confirm it is not sold anyone before Anyhow this step not needed. Even if taken EC before registration , you can need to take it again post registration to get khata.

On registration date you need to carry DD it is better to buy just 1 or 2 days before registration. I am awaiting for EMD amount refund as I did not bid for selected site since it went out of my budget rage.

It is absolute sale deed, you can sell next day itself as long as you get Position certificate, EC and Khata quicks but it take weeks to get. That means you can sell site for profit with in a month you bid with average market price.

I got a plot in e-auction bidding in Arkavathi Layout 15th Block.. But Axis bank is now refusing to provide home loan for Arkavathi Layout. They are saying its having some legal issue since BDA issues single plot to many person in past. Very strange reason..
Loan will be sanctioned. Generally corner site allotment is thru auction only may be regular site that issue rarely happen. BDA will clarify something messed up n they will retur amt one guy.

Also note EMD amount of only one site will get squared off not all. If your site is listed above double confirm by visiting BDA in person. Probably we can we can double sure only when it moved to finalized state. Bid selected is default message for everyone, It actually mean you have selected that site.
Bid successful and rejected message you can see only after days. Then it will too later to pay EMD. Wait for advice letter or rejection email. Better to follow-up with BDA finance team.
